Endometriosis

Endometriosis is a chronic condition in which tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside it, for example on the ovaries or the peritoneum. Under the influence of the hormonal cycle, this tissue can cause inflammation, pain, and lesions. It often manifests as very painful periods, chronic pelvic pain, sometimes during intercourse, and can affect fertility. Its intensity varies greatly from one person to another. When endometriosis affects sexuality, in particular through pain, specialized and compassionate support can help you live with this dimension more comfortably.
