Polyamory

Polyamory refers to the possibility of maintaining, at the same time, several romantic or intimate relationships, with the agreement and knowledge of everyone involved. It rests on principles of transparency, communication, and consent, which sets it apart from infidelity. The configurations are varied and defined case by case according to each person’s needs and limits. Polyamory is neither better nor worse than monogamy: it is one way among others of living one’s relationships. Dialogue and care given to the agreements hold a central place in it.
