Tantra

Tantra is originally an ancient Indian spiritual tradition, from which contemporary Western approaches, sometimes called neo-tantra, have mainly drawn a dimension connected to the body and intimacy. In this framework, tantra proposes linking sensuality, breathing, presence, and body awareness, valuing slowness and connection rather than simply pursuing orgasm. It is less about techniques than about a state of shared attention. Some people find in it a way to deepen the encounter with themselves or with their partner, in a spirit close to slow sex.
